You can volunteer in all sorts of ways. Do what makes you comfortable and lets you feel you're contributing. It could be delivering leaflets, making phone calls or helping out behind the scenes in dozens of different ways. Or even by standing to be a councillor or MP.
People volunteer with us for many different reasons. Most do it because they feel strongly about wanting to make their community a better place to live and improve the country. But by joining in they also get to meet others with a similar outlook on life, enjoy our social activities and feel they're making a difference. Whatever your reasons, it's a really rewarding and positive step to take.
