Temporary Car Park for Station Approved

An application for temporary change of use of the Railway
Hotel site to a pay and display car park was approved by the
Borough Council's Development Committee on 28th July 2010.
Permission has been granted for use as a car park until July 2013.
In the application the owners of the land said that they "will be
promoting a residential scheme as a long term option for the site".
