NHS Macular Unit to return to Basingstoke

It’s more than 18 months since this stopped coming to Sainsbury’s at Kempshott. Residents have been inconvenienced and had to travel to Frimley, Aldershot or Farnborough. Cllr John McKay has been trying to secure its return to Basingstoke.
The good news is that the NHS is working on plans for the macular unit to return to the Leisure Park in Basingstoke.
“A few details need to be resolved but we hope that these can be sorted and the unit will be back in Basingstoke soon,” reports John McKay.
