More Parking Madness

Your local councillors have spoken out against plans to use residential streets for

business parking. Council Officers had admitted that the impact on resident parking

problems had not been considered when drawing up the proposals.

Already hundreds of local residents have signed the Lib Dem petition to 'Keep Our Parking Spaces.' Cllr

Stuart Parker says "Already residential areas of the town suffer from inconsiderate parking, the Council

should be helping us to prevent it, not encouraging it"

Eastrop Lane and Cliddesden Road are mentioned as potential sites for business permits.
