More funding for frontline services

The Liberal Democrat/Independent team is investing £27 million in:-

1. replacing the Aquadrome with a new modern water and leisure complex;
2. improvements to parks and play areas;
3. revitalising Basingstoke town centre;
4. delivering new affordable homes at Manydown.

And we’re also providing:-

5. significant extra funding for frontline services;
6. free overnight car parking in our short stay car parks to boost our work at the Top of the Town;
7. a new extreme sports event in July for young people;
8. re-opening the public toilets in War Memorial Park.

Cllr Gavin James promises “we’ll continue extra funding on frontline services for a Brighter Future, a Better Borough. And we’re investing £27m on initiatives plus a refurbished Ice Rink is opening this year!
