Jazz 3 and Jazz 4 Latest - South Ham

It's over 5 months since South Ham residents signed a petition asking for the changes to Jazz 3 and Jazz 4 to be reconsidered.

There have been a number of meetings between Stagecoach, the Borough Council and the County Council and loads of emails!

Stagecoach offered to re-route Jazz 3 from Western Way, along Pinkerton Road and Stag Hill to Buckland Avenue and then to

continue with the current route through the Berg Estate.

Stagecoach also offered to increase the Jazz 4 frequency to hourly on weekday mornings but only if the Council subsidises them as they would be loss making.

The good news is that all three parties, Stagecoach, the Borough Council and County Council, have finally agreed the changes and the subsidy.

Stagecoach has written to the Traffic Commissioner (Department of Transport) to register the changes and plans to start the new services on 25th July 2010
