Brighton Hill - Hopes Rise for a New Post Office

Councillors Brian Gurdenand Kevin Harkess have brought together

and are working with the Post Office, a qualified sub post office manager

and the property owner to negotiate a new post office in the empty

Herbies Pizza shop.

- The sub postmaster said "this is my best chance in over two years

to open a new post office here in Brighton Hill."

- And we've had positive talks with Peter

Wilkinson, the Post Office Ltd regional manager.

He told Brian Gurden: "We appreciate the need for a post office at Brighton Hill and we're keen to find a solution."

- Ed Mileham from London and Cambridge said, "as property owners, we will do all we can to make a new post office here a reality."
